My love for the guys with the name ARJUN

Since I have been brain-dead for the past few months, this is just a fun, silly, post that I thought about a few nights ago after I tweeted about my love for the guys with the name Arjun.

It's no secret that I absolutely looooooooooove Allu Arjun aka Bunny.
But before my Bunnyliciousness (I know, it's not even a word cause I made it up, lol), the first Arjun who won me over was Arjun Rampal.

First Arjun love

I know I don't talk much about Arjun Rampal anymore :( but I still do like him a lot. Heck, I watched Fox just for him! Even though I don't talk much about him, I still like and adore him.

He was the first guy who I fell for with just a flip of a page. I saw his photos from the Stardust annual magazine 1998. Ever since then, I had to find out who this guy was!

The following are photos that made me fall for him.

He was the hottest model I ever seen!

I followed him from his modeling to his acting career. I eagerly waited for Moksha, which suppose to be his debut film. But after many months of waiting, Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat ended up being his debut film instead. Agree or disagree, Arjun is an underrated actor. I think he's more choosier with his films than before and got recognized after being in the Temptations Concert and films, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and Don, with Shahrukh. I swear anyone who stars alongside SRK will be recognized!

One reason that make me not love him as much -- even though I still *heart* him a lot -- is his choice of films lately, especially playing in supporting roles. Even though,  he's becoming more selective, I just don't have those same feelings for him like I used to. The same can be said about John Abraham who I still adore a lot! However, that will be another blog post! I once did a Arjun Rampal vs John Abraham post for fun, which was posted on my Xanga many years ago.

Arjun Rampal will always remain in my heart, just like Salman Khan!

Non /"Real" Life Arjun Love

I have a hot, model friend name Arjun.

I knew him through a mutual friend, never met the guy but we've kept in touch. He credits me for encouraging him to model because he is a very modest person and never thought about it.

He's a fitness freak and a lover of martial arts. He has a second degree in Tae Kwon Do. Just my type of man! Not only is he hot but has a heart of gold and very intellectual. The way he thinks and talks reminds me of Bruce Lee, who I admire a lot!

He once asked me how did I go from Arjun Rampal to Allu Arjun? At least, I'm still keeping the love for the Arjun's, huh? :D

Then there's my favorite Arjun.....

Arjun-Bunnylicious Obsess Love

Allu Arjun is my obsession. I have never felt this way for any other celeb.
If you haven't already, check out a few of the following posts for my Bunnyliciousness --
Fan video, cake, SI films, something something

I will re-tell the story again very briefly. A friend was posting photos of Allu Arjun on Bollywhat in a guessing game thread. I fell in love with Bunny instantly, asking him who this guy is.

Believe it or not, these are the photos that he posted of Bunny.

It was the martial arts stance that got me! Seriously!

My buddy was sweet enough to send me two films -- Aarya & Bunny. I credit him for making me know who Bunny is. Since then, I was hooked and became a fan. The rest is history. Right now, I am so much more than just a fan, more than a fan girl that I'm on the obsess mode now. Ahem, the banner, former website, ringtone is "Ringa Ringa," watching Bunny's films in theater with*out* subs (the only celeb who I'll do this for or even spend my $$ on in the theater), etc.

Bunny, what have you done to me??

Recent Arjun Love

Usually I crush for younger guys (Bunny) or at least guys around my hubby's age (Arjun Rampal), but this Arjun got me! He is no other than Arjun Sarja. I adore him! When I first saw him in Sri Anjaneyam, I just fell in love with him. I watched the film for Nitin but came out wanting to learn who this guy is!

From the film, Sri Anjaneyam

After watching the film, I quickly googled up the characters. I was so amazed because I fell for another Arjun! There's just something about his presence that I love. He is more famous in Sandalwood but I wanted to watch more films with him.

Then I watched Rama Rama Krishna Krishna, I had to watch more of him! Since then, I was able to watch a handful of his movies and still completely am in awe with him! Plus I also read that he is skilled in Karate! He kicked ass in the fight scenes!

From the film, Rama Rama Krishna Krishna

Isn't he just a handsome man!

Just to throw in that I do love Arjun's.....

My favorite film of Mahesh Babu is Arjun. No kidding! I will have to review it and explain why I love it and my fave Mahesh film over Pokiri and Athadu.

Nicki's wish - Bollywood to remake of "27 Dresses"

Those of you who follow me on Twitter know that I couldn't find my Photoshop Cd and was having computer viruses problems forcing me to re-format my my desktop computer. In addition to that, my laptop's cd drive is corrupted. Great, just great!

But in the meantime, another post.....my remake wish.

The dvd of 27 Dresses has been just laying around for months. A co-worker gave it to me and thought I'll be interestesd. The other day, I finally saw it. I absolutely looooooved it. I even saw it twice. Second time with hubby. He likes it too!

I want to see 27 Dresses in a Bollywood remake. Yes, I noticed that my other Bollywood wish of remakes are all female-oriented films, just like my post for Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants & Peach Girl.

But knowing Bollywood, there will be changes and make it a male-oriented film. Take a look at Sweet Home Alabama, which the remake is Barsaat. Instead of letting it focus on a woman, it focused on a man - Bobby Deol. Why? Why not let Bips or Priya be the main star? If you are going to remake and keep most of the script, then do it even better!

Anyways, I hope that one day, I get to see more female-oriented films. And not just female-oriented films focusing on women suffering. Ahem, Chandni Bar, Ek Hassena Thi, etc. Could we have a light-hearted romantic comedy? None of the men rescuing the women at the end of the day. Let her be strong-minded, please!

27 Dresses is the story about Jane, who has been a bride's maid 27 times and waits patiently for her prince charming to sweep her off her feet.

Jane is the unselfish girl-next-door. She is always there for everyone. Never saying no to anyone's requests and needs, she always goes beyond expectations as a bride's maid and her friends. Everyone at work knows she's in love with her boss, George, except for him.

When I saw Jane, I immediately thought of Ayesha Takia Azmi. Ayesha has such a natural, refreshing, youthful look and can act. She's one of the most underrated actress in Bollywood. From Tarzaan - The Wonder Car to Dor to 8x10 Tasveer, she could easily pull it off. Playing a role like this reminds me of her Socha Naa Tha and Dil Maanga More days.

George, Jane's boss. He's the perfect guy. Plus the guy Jane's in love with. Why not? Any woman would fall in love with him. He's handsome, successful, loves animals, and does charity work.

Arjun Rampal would fit perfectly as George. For some reason, he does best when he's given more of a side role. But with this role, fans will still see the sweet, good-looking guy like from Tehzeeb.

Jane's younger sassy, sexy sister, Tess, comes to live with her. To Jane's surprise, George and Tess starts to fall in love and become a couple.

Bollywood don't know who Ileana D'Cruz is but she's very popular in Tollywood. Besides a lot of South Indian actresses have been making their mark in Bollywood. I'm waiting for Ileana's turn. She has a innocent look with a sexy vibe. I've only seen her in Pokiri but think she would be perfect as Ayesha's younger sister. Having her paired off with Arjun would also be very interesting.

Casey is Jane's BFF. She's fiesty but loves her BFF.

Kangana would be perfect! Just like Jane and Casey both are opposites but always there for each other. I would love for Ayesha and Kangana to be cast as BFFs.

Kevin is the adorable, cute writer who starts to have a soft spot for Jane when he gets to know her.

Why not Abhay Deol? I could totally see him pull it off. Plus I would love to see him and Ayesha together again. They make a cute jodi. I want more Socha Naa Tha.

This is just my silly remake wish but wouldn't this cast be awesome? 27 Dresses will be one of my guilty-pleasure movies.

Nicki's wish - Bollywood to remake "Peach Girl" (Anime)

Since I had fun posting about my wish to have the Hollywood movie, The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants, to be re-made in Bollywood, I thought that I would continue with my imagination of casts for another movie that I would love to be re-made in Bollywood.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v252/BollyNuts/Peach%20Girl/PG2.jpg

Both of my kids love reading manga and watching anime. Okay, for those who are not familiar with both terms: manga is Japanese graphic novels or cartoons in books & anime is Japanese animation or moving cartoons, which many are based on mangas.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v252/BollyNuts/Peach%20Girl/PG3.jpg

My daughter checked out Peach Girl manga series from the library. On our family trip, I was bored and grabbed one of the Peach Girl manga -- there are 18 volumnes. Since then, I was hooked. I was so hooked that I even watched the anime version. Loved it even more!! Plus this is the first time I ever thought any cartoon guy was hot. Both Toji and Kairi were hot!! Momo is so pretty too! I know. I know….I used to laugh at some of my friends for thinking some cartoon dude was good-looking, now look at me doing the same damn thing!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v252/BollyNuts/Peach%20Girl/Peach_girl.gif

Unfortunately, there is a Taiwanese drama that took the main plot with a few tweeks and turns. I did manage to watch it and I haaaated it. I fell in love with the three leads -- Momo, Toji, and Kairi -- only to see the Twdrama version poorly cast. Since this post isn't about me bashing the Twdrama, but for me casting it Bollywood style.

Earlier I was cleaning out my Yahoo mailbox and noticed an e-mail from a couple of years ago that I saved about casting Bollywood stars. Dangerous Mousie loves Asian and Indian cinema. We both only cast the four main leads since we love Peach Girl. But I just thought, why not cast the rest? Therefore, I am going to try to put a Bollywood face on the rest of the cast.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v252/BollyNuts/Peach%20Girl/PG1.jpg

Like the Twdrama, I rather have a college atmosphere rather than high school. Otherwise, I would rather have the Bollywood version follow more faithfully to the manga/anime. Since it is a manga/anime, from 25 episodes to one long movie would be a challenge.

Since it's been two years since I've seen the anime, I re-watched it last night. OMG, I still loooove it! But I stayed up the other night watching it! Imagine 25 episodes!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v252/BollyNuts/Peach%20Girl/PG4.jpg

Peach Girl is about a dark-skin, light-colored hair, insecure, hot-tempered girl who has been in love with the same guy since junior high but have heard he does not like girls that are dark-skin. She spends too much time trying to re-make herself into the girl she believes he will like, which causes her to have low self-esteem. Many people make assumptions of what type of person she is because of her skin color and hair, thinking she is a slut. Even her friend is manipulative and tries to be with the guy she loves. No one believes her except a popular, good-looking guy who is known to be a player, who is in love with her and she eventually will fall for. It's a love triangle about growing up, learning lessons, and seeing what is truly in your heart.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v252/BollyNuts/Peach%20Girl/momo1.jpg

Momo Adachi

Momo is shy and insecure but is a hot-temper girl. She has dark skin and light-colored hair, which makes others think she is a "beach bunny" aka slut. On top of that, she has a nice figure since she is on the swim team. Ever since junior high, she has been in love with Toji but has heard he doesn't like dark-skin girls. Her "friend" Sae gossips about her and manipulates others to dislike her. Only Kairi believes Momo and knows the truth. Even though her heart has always been for Toji, she is slowly falling for Kairi, who has been there for her through it all.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v252/BollyNuts/Peach%20Girl/bips.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v252/BollyNuts/Peach%20Girl/bips0.jpg

Bipasha Basu as Momo Adachi

Just because Bips is my girl crush does not mean I preferred her for this role. Come on, she's the sexy dark-skin girl in Bollywood! She's been snubbed by so many people about her skin. Plus she likes to experiment with her hair, whether it's colors or cuts. Momo is a swimmer and has a nice figure. Therefore, Bips fits that description.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v252/BollyNuts/Peach%20Girl/sae.jpg

Sae Kashiwagi

Sae is Momo's "friendemy" -- a term my friend and I use for those girls who has friends who are like their enemies. Unlike Momo, Sae has opposite features from Momo. Sae is light-skin with dark hair, making her look like she's innocent. Therefore, many would believe Sae over Momo, even though it's the scheming, manipulative, selfish Sae instead. Spreading rumors and gossiping about Momo is what Sae is best at, resulting in her own jealousy and insecurity. In addition, she only tries to go for Toji because Momo is interested in him.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v252/BollyNuts/Peach%20Girl/katrina.jpg

Katrina Kaif as Sae Kashiwagi

Two years ago, both Dangerous Mousie and I originally thought about having Amisha Patel as Sae. However, re-watching Peach Girl again, no way. I rather have Katrina Kaif play that part. Even though her acting skills is still amateur, she fits the appearance of an innocent, beautiful girl with pale skin and gorgeous silky hair. Okay....Sae has short dark hair. But in Bollywood, it's the long, dark hair that is in. That's why originally Amisha was thought of but now, I say that Katrina is more of the "it" girl. I don't think Katrina is that bad of an actress. She's not good either. Yes, overrated playing in movies with the right heroes but she's tolerable and more likeable than some of the other model-turned actreseses out there.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v252/BollyNuts/Peach%20Girl/kairi.jpg

Kairi Okayasu

Even though he's one of the most popular guys at school, Kairi is not able to shed his "playboy" images. Regardless, he has a good heart. He is the only one who believes Momo over Sae and starts to fall for Momo.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v252/BollyNuts/Peach%20Girl/hrithik.jpg

Hrithik Roshan as Kairi Okayasu

Honestly, I think Abhishek Bachchan would be a better Kairi in the personality department. I always see Abhi as the cute guy who the ladies love because of his personality. However, for the looks department (sorry Abhi fans), I don't think he's drop-dead gorgeous but I do think he is puppy-cute. After Dhoom 2, I can see Hrithik play the loveable Kairi. He is the good-looking guy who teases the girl he's in love with.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v252/BollyNuts/Peach%20Girl/toji.jpg

Toji Toujigamori

Toji has been Momo's crush since junior high school. He's good-looking and plays baseball. Since he is too sweet, he is oblivious to what's actually going on.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v252/BollyNuts/Peach%20Girl/arjunrampal.jpg

Arjun Rampal as Toji Toujigamori

Toji is a good-looking athelete, which I can see Arjun in that role. He is more of a silent guy who just goes with the flow, something in which I can see Arjun pull off. Lately, he's in a lot of supporting roles and shares screen time with the other casts, but he excels in every one of the roles.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v252/BollyNuts/Peach%20Girl/ryo1.jpg

Ryo Okayasu

Ryo is Kairi's older brother. He is the silent, cold type that can sometimes be dangerous.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v252/BollyNuts/Peach%20Girl/suniel.jpg

Suniel Shetty as Ryo Okayasu

Needed an attractive veteran actor with negative shades to play Hrithik's older brother. Finally, I thought about Suniel Shetty. He's played negative characters before and is attractive. Suniel as Hrithik's older brother, that's something that hasn't been done yet either!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v252/BollyNuts/Peach%20Girl/misao1.jpg

Misao Aki

Misao is the school nurse and is like an older sister to Momo, who she looks up to. She has always loved Ryo but he doesn' t know it. Plus she still loves him. In addition, she was once Kairi's tutor, whom he had a crush on.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v252/BollyNuts/Peach%20Girl/tabu.jpg

Tabu as Misao Aki

Just like Ryo, I was thinking of a veteran actress who could be cast to be Hrithik's first crush and also have a crush on Suniel. Tabu came to mind. I can see her dressed up in glasses as the school nurse and like an older sister to Bipasha. Imagine Hrithik having a crush on Tabu too. So cute!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v252/BollyNuts/Peach%20Girl/gouri.jpg

Goro Oji

Male model who is
smitten with Sae but is unaware of her true personality. She uses him in her schemes against Momo.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v252/BollyNuts/Peach%20Girl/dino.jpg

Dino Morea as Goro Oji

Just needed a hot model with six-pack abs to be Goro. There's lots of models who can fill this role but my soft spot for Dino made me choose him. No way could I put John Abraham in this role. I mean, him in a short role and not end up with Bips, no way. It's like I'm selling out on my fave jodi, lol. But in all, Goro doesn't have a big role and wanted Dino to have a huge crush on Katrina, chasing her around.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v252/BollyNuts/Peach%20Girl/morika3.jpg

Morika

Beautiful lady who used to date the Okayasu brothers - Ryo & Kairi, who has a grudge against Ryo and uses his younger brother Kairi against him.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v252/BollyNuts/Peach%20Girl/amisha.jpg

Amisha Patel as Morika

Originally had Amisha cast as Sae so wanted her to remain in the star cast. Why not add her as Morika? Amisha dating both Hrithik and Suniel before would be perfect. Like Sae, Morika has some negative shades with her as well.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v252/BollyNuts/Peach%20Girl/peachgirl.jpg

This is my silly rant of another Bollywood movie I would love to see. Again, it would be hard to re-make it but just my dream cast. Maybe I could see it in a soap/drama or something.

Nicki's tough decision

For the past six years, I've tried to maintain several websites of celebrities who I admired (mainly for good looks) who do not have many websites dedicated to them. The first website I ever started was for Arjun Rampal back in 2002. Since I was a fan of his modeling days, I thought it was a great idea for me to create a site to keep his pictures. In a couple of days, I made one for Bipasha Basu.

At that time, I was only using free Geocities accounts. But in a year, I used too much space and many of the pages were unavailable. Then, I moved my sites to sites that offer free web hosting as long as I let them advertise on the site. That didn't work either.

Finally, I decided to buy my own web space and domain name. It went well. So I bought a couple more domain names to make sites for Dino Morea, John Abraham, and Allu Arjun.

But now, it's over six years since I started the websites and four years with me paying out of my pocket for maintaining the sites. Plus, no one is helping me updating. No wonder I've been neglecting the sites with no updated information.

I decided to close down all my websites whenever it expires.

Last year, I have closed down Bollylounge and Dino Morea Online because it was hard to maintain now because I wanted to spend more time with my family and I'm going back to school. When it was time to renew again this year, I had to think about it but decided not to. The rest of my websites will need to be renewed this year, but I won't renew them.

This year, the following websites will be closed down.

Arjun Rampal Online

I will just focus on Blogger for writing and sharing my thoughts on Indian movie cinema.
