First Veracious posted it, then saw who tagged her - Ramu, then Shweta did it. My turn now. Thought it'll be fun to do. Started but didn't get to finish. Now I'm going to finish it...using only Bollywood songs from soundtracks. I'm going by purely with either the lyrics or videos.
Totally stole Shweta's format. :)
For each situation described, you have to come up with song/s that would apply to these situations in your life.
Opening credits: "Saiyan" - Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost (2003)
Intro like that would be so awesome. Just wish I can dance and be as sexy and gorgeous as Lara.
Waking up: "Good Morning India" - Khushi (2003)
With a title like that, why not??
Average day: "Aayee Re Aayee Re" - Khushi (2003)
Young, carefree, happy = me? I wish. Yeah, I know...two Khushi songs, back to back...
First Date: "Teri Kurti Sexy" - Vaada (2005)
Better tell me I'm sexy...even my kurti.
Falling in love: "Mann Ki Lagaan" - Paap (2003)
I feel like this too if I saw John looking hot like this. :D Lyrics are beautiful - "my heart fell in love with you"
Love Scene: "Jadu Hai Nasha" - Jism (2003)
When you're in love, nothing else matters - "It's magic, a spell, intoxication"
Fight Scene: "Karate Karate" - Karate (1983)
May seem OTT to you but I looooved this movie back then, hahaha. I'm still trying to search for it on DVD with English subtitles. Hey, this song has martial arts. :)
Breaking up: "Kitna Pyaara Hai Ye" - Raaz (2002)
"I fear even the thought of us separating"
Getting back together: "Jaan-E-Jigar" - Aashiqui (1990)
Love will bring you back
Life’s ok: "Life Mein Kabhi Kabhiee" - Life Mein Kabhi Kabhiee (2007)
Life will be okay - "At times in life. Such desination should arrive."
Mental Breakdown: "Shikayat Hai" - Jism (2002)
"It seems to me that I'm dying bit by bit. For this reason I hate my life."
Driving: "Ruki Ruki" - Mast (1999)
How about journey with different types of transportation? I would love to do that.
Flashback: "Aye Meri Zindagi" - Saaya (2003)
Some memories will always remain in your heart
Partying: "Daru Vich Pyar" - Tum Bin (2001)
Completely love this song. Everytime I hear it, I wanna dance (even though I have two left feet)
Happy Dance: "Janam Samjha Karo" - Janam Samjha Karo (1999)
This song makes me happy. Love watching it. Dance moves are great, to me. Salman + Urmila.
Regretting: "Aa Bhi Ja" - Sur (2005)
When you trust someone and get backstabbed...
Death Scene: "Tadap Tadap" - Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999)
This is the hardest one for me.....this song is so sad every time I hear it....
Closing Credits: "Paisa Paisa" - Apna Sapna Money Money (2006)
Why not end it with a Hinglish song? Come on, show me the money...I still want to be rich!

Hi Nicki!
Impressive list.
'Saiyan' has to one of my favourite tracks. Love Sunidhi's vocals and of course, Lara's dance. Wasn't overly impressed with the film though...
Thanks for the 'Jism' videos. My personal fave is 'Chalo Tumko Lekar Chale' which as I remember is featured in one of your old avatars: 'The one with the bubbles' as I'd call it. M.M. Kreem really has done some good tunes, including "Aa Bhi Ja' from "Sur."
Finally, that 'Karate Karate' is awesome! Mithun in a film about Karate called, "Karate!"
Where can I buy it?!! Heh-heh.
Keep up the good work, Nicki.
Lols- what a fun list! and yeah, that tasap-tadap song gets me down as well- good pick, but oh so weepyyyy :D "Teri Kurti" is SO fun- as was ur comment on it- I almost fell apart laughing :D
I love your list, Nicki! I only wish I could do one of my own, but my knowledge of Bollywood music is too sketchy and why bother with English songs? ;-)
piyaara - Thanks so much! Also thanks for stopping by! "Saiyan" is one of my all-time favorites too!
I agree, the Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost soundtrack is awesome for a boring movie.
I loved "Chalo Tumko Lekar Chale" too - just in love with the whole Jism soundtrack. I also think about the bubbles part too! Dang, makes me want to rewatch the movie (it's been a while) and make more anime avatars and post another review.
Glad you love the Karate movie too! It's awesome. I'm still searching for an official dvd and have been making inquiries in India! I'll let you know when I find a copy. :)
shweta - Thanks! I had fun doing the list. It's just that I get stuck on a few and that bugs me, hehehe. "Tadap Tadap" is definitely one of the saddest songs ever to me. I get all teary every time I watch it. When I hear it, I always think of sweet Sallu. "Teri Kurti" is such a silly song but I thought it'll be fun listed as a first date, lol.
ajnabi - Thanks so much!! I think doing an English one would be so much easier but the Bollywood one is much funnier! Maybe one day you can do a Bollywood one. ;)
Nice list! Tadap tadap ke was my favourite choice of the lot: definitely one of the saddest songs I've heard. The raw emotional power of that voice near breaking point completely gets to me. And yet, it isn't just a standard sad song -- the lyrics are sophisticated and the way their structure even more so.
