Bipasha Basu - Love Yourself fitness dvd

I can not help but blog about this.

Bips is looking so hot!!!!!!

Even John thinks Bips is fitter than him now. Ironic since he was the one who gifted her the treadmill many years ago. Now, she's a fitness freak.

Just more pics of the lovely Bips

Nicki's wish - Forget "Charlie's Angels", Bollywood to remake "So Close" (Hong Kong)

I've been wanting to start this post for some time now but been preoccupied. Now, here's my chance!

You know how much I love female-oriented, strong-minded films. Besides, this one was fun to do.

The talks about Bollywood to remake Hollywood's Charlie's Angels has been in the talks for sooooo long. But it has never happened!!

The first time I ever heard about it was before Raveena got married back in the early 2000s. At that time, the cast would be Raveena Tandon, Sushmita Sen, & Shilpa Shetty.

But of course, that film never seen that light! Another article came out indicating the remake but with Diya Mirza, Perizaad Zorabian, & Amrita Arora.

But that article was in 2003. And now it's 2009, quickly approaching 2010! What now?

Of course, the media fed into Mallika Sherawat's Twitter with a fan indicating the Charlie's Angels Bollywood remake should include Mallika, Priyanka Chopra, & Bipasha Basu. There was even a fictional picture floating.

Not a bad trio.

However, my cast would be different.

I was tweeting about it with @dunkdaft aka Darshit & @bana_nnie about what my version of an awesome trio. After I saw Tere Mere Beach Mein, I really want to see Shilpa and Bips together. They were only in Chor Machaye Shor, but didn't have many scenes together. Shilpa was one of the original choice for a Charlie's Angels Bollywood remake. Till this day, she is still looking hot and fit!

So what's up with the title, "Forget Charlie's Angels, Bollywood to remake So Close?"

When So Close first released its movie previews, many people compared it with Charlie's Angels.

But trust me, it's nothing like that. Although it is not a "brilliant" movie -- but neither is Charlie's Angels, So Close is one of my favorite guilty-pleasure, no-brainer, kick-ass, female bonding, action-packed, Hong Kong movies. It got me back in watching Hong Kong movies again.

So Close is about two sisters, Lynn (Shu Qi) and Sue (Vicki Zhao Wei). They are espionage agents, computer hackers, assassins, everything along that line. Lynn is the skilled, sister who does the action work, while the younger sister, Sue, is the assistant and runs the computer at home. The two sisters end up with a cat-and-mouse game with police detective, Hung (Karen Mok), who is out to find them.

When Lynn's ex-flame, Yen (Song Seung Hoon) re-enters back in her life, she realizes that she must live a "normal" life and want to leave the secret lifestyle behind. However, Sue disagrees. She always felt like the underdog and never got to do any real undercover work. In addition, she wants to prove that she can be just as good as her older sister.

Will Hung ever find the two sisters? Will Sue ever be as good as her older sister, Lynn? Will Lynn ever leave that lifestyle behind and be with her lover?

I'll leave it at that. Just in case, others want to see So Close.

Again, lots of movie promos show the three girls together like some kind of Charlie's Angels film.

Just my dream cast of a Bollywood remake....

All screen caps are stolen taken from brns on his So Close review with spoilers.

Shilpa Shetty as Lynn (Shu Qi)

No denying that she is the *only* Bollywood actress that remains fit from beginning to end of her career. Never did you read about her ups and downs of weight. In Dus, she had a small action role that could have done better justice to her.

I can definitely see Shilpa playing the older, sexy, sister who does all the kick-ass action.

Isha Koppikar as Sue (Vicki Zhao Wei)

Some people are saying, "Isha? Are you sure?" Yes, I am. She is so underrated.
She can definitely pull the action scenes, she does have a black belt in Tae Kwon Do :) Check out pic below

This lady needs better scripts because as little as her role is in Bollywood films, she is good at each of them. She had a bit of an action role with Bips in Rudraksh, which she totally had the looks for and could have gotten a fight scene against Bips!

Imagine Shilpa & Isha as the two beautiful sisters as action beauties!

I like.

But there's one more girl.

Yes, there is.

Bipasha Basu as Hung (Karen Mok)

Come on, you know there is no way that a girl-power, action film *not* star Bips! Just like Shilpa, Bips' very short cop role in Dhoom 2 could have been given better justice. Why Bollywood? I know actresses get paid a lot for wearing minimal clothing and dancing around in trees at the clubs. Regardless, Bips would have done it well.

Would totally like to see Bips in an action role. She already is the fittest star in Bollywood. With the help of her beau, John Abraham, she would kill the fight scenes.

See, the girls in So Close use martial arts, fight with swords, and use guns.

Farhan Akhtar as Yen (Song Seung Hoon)

Hottie Korean actor, Song Seung Hoon, didn't have a huge role but provided eye candy for the ladies.

So why not another hottie to do so in Bollywood?

Besides, Farhan & Shilpa would look soooo cute together!

Just another one of my fantasy film cast in Bollywood.

Jay Sean - I had a weird dream of him

It's very rare that I have a dream of a celebrity.

Not even of my hotties, John Abraham or Allu Arjun.

Most of the time, I have dreamless nights.

The only dream that I could ever recall me having of any celebrity is of Saif Ali Khan. Back when Xanga was big, I blogged about it, but not in much detail. Sadly, I didn't save that post. I'm not a huge fan of his, but do think he's a good actor. But in the dream, he wanted me to like him. Till this day, I still don't see him in that way. Yes, he's attracted but just don't do it for me.

Just last night, I had a dream of Jay Sean. I've always loved Jay Sean. I fell in love with him ever since I've seen the "Stolen" music video. Plus my fave gal, Bipasha Basu, was in the video, which made me notice him more. Not only is he hot, but this guy can sing.

Thankfully for one of my friends, I was able to go to Jay Sean's concert and meet him back in 2005. I have kept the picture of him and me up and blew it to a 8x10. Not only that, I had 5, yes 5 pictures of him, and he signed EVERY one of them. Lots of love. (more info posted here)

It was because of him that I joined Twitter. He was definitely one of my all-time favorite hotties.

Jay has becoming really big within the past several months in the USA. His song, "Down" hit #1 on the Billboard charts! All my friends who knew how much I love Jay Sean contacted me to tell me they heard him on the radio, saying this is the same Jay Sean that I told them about.

As happy as I was for him, for some reason, I started not to love him as much as I used to.

I don't know why but I think success has gone to his head.

Well, why I do fault him? Do I really blame him?
Nope. He has worked hard for his accomplishments and success.

Sometimes the selfish girl inside of me wants him to remain "underrated" so I could love him more, so I could tell others how great he is. He has moved on in the USA. I really am happy for him.

The reason behind my selfishness is that I want to make it easier to meet him again. But now, he's very successful and it would definitely be harder to meet him again. Unless I have huge connections, and I don't.

So because of this reason, my love for Jay has been dying down. It's quite sad though. I've always wanted my American friends to see how great he was. Now, they have a little taste of Jay Sean, and I feel like this?

Last night, I did have a dream about him. It was short but sweet. You know how weird dreams can get.

Jay was in town. For some reason, I was doing some kind of interview with him, I think. We went to sit down. We were at a restaurant or something, and a presentation came on. He was concentrating on the presentation, instead of me. Then all of a sudden, he tells me that he is hungry and started to blurt out a list of what he wants to eat.

I write that list down and go to the kitchen. The cook was lazy and didn't want to fix it. The dishes were not clean. I started to clean up and started to prep some food. I have no idea what I was doing since he wanted a lot of Indian food. The only Indian food I could remember was biryani. Later, the cook felt sorry for me and was telling me that I must be a loyal fan of Jay to do all this for him since he's so stuck up now.

Next thing you know, Jay is outside of the kitchen and realizes my devotion to him and ask me to go to him. He kisses me really quick on the forehead and lips. He tells me that he has to go but will keep in touch.

That was it.

What a weird dream.

I interpret that dream to still be a Jay Sean fan regardless of how he's doing because I was one from the beginning.

I really should. I do that for a lot of Bollywood stars, particularly Salman Khan.

I shall be faithful, Jay Sean. I shall.

There's just something about Allu Arjun

What happened to my Bollywood hottie, John Abraham?

There's no doubt that I find John Abraham hot -- he's so sizzling hot, I can cook scrambled eggs on his chisled, six-pack abs. Honestly, I didn't find him that attractive back in the days, I started to notice him more mainly because of Bipasha Basu (if you know nothing about my girl crush, Bips, then read this or this or even this). Then I read and saw his interviews and fell in love with him more. Besides his physical physique hotness, he is laid-back, cool, fun, sweet, all that.

What's up with Allu Arjun then?

When I ventured out to South Indian films several years ago, I fell for a guy name Allu Arjun. It was all because of him that I'm more in love with Tollywood aka Telugu films.

Besides Arjun's good looks, it was his boyish charm and character in his films that got me. Oh yeah, not to mention the guy can dance! Forget Hrithik Roshan and/or Shahid Kapur. He is the *best* dancer in India. I can watch him dance all day. Trying to learn his dance moves is a good workout!!! Check him at the South Scope Style Awards, Maaro Maaro - Bunny, Thakadimi Thom - Aarya, Gola Gola - Desamuduru, just to name a few.

Sometimes when I think about it. What really is it that makes me go ga-ga for Arjun? I feel like a school girl crushing sooo hard. Both JA & AA are smoking hot, but within the past year, my dil goes to Allu Arjun.

I rather stare and watch Arjun's films, good or bad.
On Youtube, I search for anything Allu Arjun.

Instead of Mumbai, I rather go to Hyderabad.
Forget trying to learn Hindi, I want to learn Telugu!

Funny thing is JA is closer to me in age. Instead, I'm crushing on a younger guy this hard. And I'm a married woman! My kids know my crush on Arjun, hahaha.

Allu Arjun, what have you done to me?

Bipasha Basu on the cover of HARPER'S BAZAAR, Sept 2009

There's no denying that I freaking love Bipasha Basu!
Pics from her latest photo session from the magazine, Harper's Bazaar, in the September 2009 Indian edition.
