Playlist - Boat songs

Earlier today, I was working out and was watching the Travel channel. It was focused on South India - Kerala! I was ecstatic because ever since I have been working out there, it's either CNN or Sports.

Kerala is famous for its beautiful water and boat travel. Since I saw Godavari, I thought about how beautiful the scenery is.

So I thought about songs that were pictured on the boat. Not saying that all these songs are pictured in Kerala.

The following are from Bollywood films.

"O Saathiya" - Saaya
Hot, gorgeous, sexy, shirtless John. One of my favorite John films. Had a blast watching it again.

"Chupke Se Sun" - Mission Kashmir
One of my favorite Hrithik films. I think I may re-watch this film soon because it's been a while. Plus I miss Preity, where has she been? I really love the Hrithik-Preity jodi. If you've never seen MK and are watching this song and asking questions, then watch the film. :)

"Hum Tumhare Liye" - Intaquam
I have never seen the film but have seen the song in a song dvd. Sanjay Khan and Sadhana look soooo adorable!

"Yoon Hi Tum Mujhse" - Sachaa Jhutha
Never seen this film either. However, love the gorgeous Rajesh Khanna and Mumtaz.
Entire song is on boat.



"Hum Tumhe Chahte Hai Aise" - Qurbani
Although Vinod and Zeenat were not on the boat, I still consider it a boat song because you see a boat. :)

"Raat Ka Nasha" - Asoka
Not necessary a boat but they are traveling on water. :) Asoka has beautiful music.

"Zindagi Ki Na Toote Ladi" - Kranti
Hema rocks and is gorgeous. Saw this movie so long ago and don't remember it all except for this song.



"Tere Sau Deewane" - Shareef Badmash
Ever since I blogged about my encounter with Dev Anand, I was embarrass about not watching many films of his. I started to do more research on his films and hope I will be able to get a copy of them. I came across this song on YouTube...and behold, it also stars Hema, who I adore. Have yet to find the film though.

"Kudha Jane" - Bachna Ae Haseeno
This song was shot in Italy and is beautiful. Although I wasn't a fan of the Ranbir-Deepika jodi in the film, I do like their jodi in real life.

"Ishq Mein Dil Ko" - Banaras
A film titled with the famous city had to have songs featured on a boat! Watched this film for Urmila cause I adore her. Beautiful music and great to see Urmi again. Although the song didn't show much on the boat, it has some and it's beautiful. Another song, "Om Namah Shivaya" was featured on a boat too.

"Baazigar O Baazigar" - Baazigar
Beautiful song except for the wardrobe. Still love you SRK & Kajol.

Nicki's top 15 favorite *Item Girl songs*

Out of boredom, I thought about my top favorite Item Girl songs. To me, most of them are the best songs from the soundtrack. Especially if you want an upbeat song and just wanting to just get up and dance. Whether the song is just a dream, at a club, or a party, it features a hot & sexy girl dancing.

The term "item girl" now refers to any girl who looks good and shows off. However, to me, it still means that the girl is just there to make a special guest appearance and dance strictly for the song.

I did not include any oldies. Just because I know Helen is the queen of them and did not want to include her in 1 - 15. :)

Nor did I include any girls who did 30 seconds appearance in a song. Girl must be featured in the entire song.

Tried hard to think of different songs featuring a different girl.

First of all, Bips is not known to be a dancer. However, I must start my playlist with her. The item number not only hyped up the real relationship of John and Bipasha, yet they sizzled on-screen, as well. Too bad the song was the ending credits of the film. Not enough JoBi for me. :) No, I did not include her two wonderful songs from Omkara - "Beedi" & "Namak" because Bips was more than an item girl in the film.

"Shut Up and Bounce" - Dostana

Shilpa Shetty
Debated between this song and "Main Aayi Hoon Up Bihar" - Shool, but finally decided on "Shut Up and Bounce" - Dostana just because Shilpa is hotter and the Miami location looks fabulous. Shilpa is the underrated hottie. The only actress to maintain her curvaceous body throughout her career. She add extra sexiness to the song to spice up the opening credits.

Even though the famous Thai singer isn't featured in the movie, Tata was offered the opportunity to sing the English version of the song. Hey, she is still considered an "item girl." For those who didn't know, she is one of the most famous singers in Asia.

Back then, I remember a lot of people complaining about how vulgar the song was. Many of my Desi girl friends thought so). Despite how the song was pictured, definitely love the music. Yana definitely made her mark in Bollywood with this song. Props to her since she's non-Desi, but she's no Helen! She keeps coming back with more item songs such as "Oh What a Babe" - Rakht but she'll always be remembered for "Babuji."

If only Ganesh Acharya was replaced with a hotter guy, I would have loved looking at this song more. Regardless, an awesome song debuting the sexy Koena. Definitely was one of my girl crushes until she undergone plastic surgery. Nevertheless, still looks good in the song.

No surprise why this song is number one. Not only does it feature Shahrukh and Malaika, it has been played again and again at clubs. Plus it has been played in several Hollywood films. When you hear it, you just want to get up and dance. SRK and Malaika tried again to re-create the magic in "Kaal Dhamaal" - Kaal but failed.

Playlist - Snow songs!!

So it's snowing in Atlanta. That rarely happens...and in March too. Most of the time, the snow does not stick. Plus, it has been snowing since this morning and still is snowing!!

Inspired to have playlist of Bollywood songs in the snow. The sad thing is I could only come up with seven...any more? Please do share!!

I loooove this movie, if you do not know by now, you should. :)
Entire song is dancing in the snow. Love that.

Has been sooo long since I've seen this movie but looove Govinda-Neelam jodi dancing in the snow.
Snow dances only in the beginning part of the song until 3:50



"Chanda Chamke" - Fanaa
Entire song is with snow. Not my favorite song from the film but could be a part of a Bollywood kids' playlist.



"Mere Haath Mein" - Fanaa
Look...another song from Fanaa. Love this song, very beautiful and has Aamir and Kajol.

Nicki's *two* Valentine's Day playlists

Well, yesterday was definitely Valentine's Day, I really didn't know what to re-watch or watch for this "special" occasion. Sorry for the negativity but I do not care about Valentine's Day. For those who are hopeless romantics and celebrate it, kudos to you. But for me, I do not need a holiday reminding me about my love one......

My next review will be done later on tonight or possibly early tomorrow morning. I watched the Telugu movie, Madhumasam. Ironically, it has a Valentine's Day party in the movie. Screen cap from the movie below.
